Question by Oxygen-Bar Tender: Audi S5 or BMW 335i?
Which would you prefer? I think the BMW has slightly better performance even though it is down 50 hp. I think it is because of it’s BMW rear-wheel drive handling…but the Audi S5 looks and sounds fantastic….I am not buying….i’m just a car freak.

As a BMW lover, and salesman, i love the look of the S5, it is hot. But, as a driving enthusiast, the 335i is tops.
I think the look of the S5 will fade, while the 335i has a standard sexy look that is kind of timeless. It would be a tough call, but i’d go for the 335i and save several grand at the same time.

I loved bmw all my life but sadly the looks never changed much. I would rather go for the s5 because audi has come up with some great designs over the last few years.
My mom was actually just in this situation. Hers was between the Audi A5 and the BMW 328xi Coupe. She went for the Audi due to it’s outstanding Quattro Drive and shear beauty. We also avoided the Bimmer due to it’s iDrive and steep base price. It I was put between the S5 and the BMW 335i, I would take the 335i due to the fact you can get an Automatic Transmission. Honestly, I don’t know how to drive stick so it would be pretty hard. If the Audi S5 did offer an automatic, it would be in my garage right now. That is one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. Not to mention to coolness factor that when you start the car, the gauges go to 150 MPH and back to 0. It really just looks cool. I am disappointed that the BMW offers only HD Radio as the stereo system. The Audi offers the Bang and Olufson System which is amazing. Sorry if it sounds like I’m picking petty facts, I’m also a car guy.
the AUDI S5… im a bimmer person, but the S5 is nice! now, that someone mentioned the bang and olufson sound system, im totally in love with it… the 335i is nice… but i only like the coupe… that is cool.
